Cognitics has developed a geospatial data repository and an associated API to meet the needs of the GIS and simulation industries. This API allows for a common data access model to multiple spatial database formats, and provides a back end SQL based storage repository that allows for lossless worldwide data storage. This technology is currently being used for R&D efforts, and is planned for deployment in large scale data storage systems in the 4th quarter of 2009.
